The following describes the personal data that is collected or generated (processed) when you use our website. This Privacy Policy also explains how your data is used, shared and protected, your choices and rights, and how to contact us.

General Statement

We take your privacy very seriously and are committed to protecting it. We believe that you should be able to easily understand what personal data we collect and use, and understand your rights in relation to it.

This Privacy Policy sets out our policies and practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data on our website.

We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully as it contains important information about your personal data.

Who are we?

Fasctrends is responsible for your personal data and in this Privacy Policy we will refer to us as “we”, “us” or “our”.

If you have any questions about our Privacy Policy or the use of your personal information on our website, please contact us at [email protected].

What personal data do we collect and how do we use it?

Personal data is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, an individual’s name or address.

We may collect personal data from you directly (e.g. when you purchase products from our website) and indirectly (e.g. through your electronic devices that interact with our website).

Data you provide to us directly

In order to place an order on our website, create a customer account, contact us or subscribe to our newsletter and other marketing activities, you will generally provide us with the following data:

Your identification data and contact details: your first name, last name, language and country from which you interact with us, and your contact data, such as your email address, postal address, shipping address and telephone number.

Economic and payment information: your bank details (please note that all payment transactions are encrypted by the receiving bank and we do not store any card numbers), information about your purchases, orders, returns, etc.

Connection, geolocation and navigation data.

Your profile: If you open a customer account, you will create a profile and be identified when you visit our website. As a result, your data will be saved, such as your customer ID and password, your recent purchases and your preferences.

Your personal preferences: including your wish list, marketing and cookie preferences.

Other Personal Information: You may also provide us with other personal information, such as your date of birth, gender, etc.

We are the only one who collects and stores this additional information, and we use it for analysis to improve our services. When we ask you to enter personal data to access a feature, some of the data is mandatory because we need it to access the feature (e.g., we need your postal address in order to deliver a package to you). It is important to ensure that the personal information shared with you is accurate and up-to-date. Please let us know if any of your information changes.

We do not store sensitive personal information in any way, so as our website is not intended for children, we do not store any data related to children.

Promotional Highlights Information: Many customers complain that they no longer receive our Commercial Highlights: Archives, Private Sales and Promotions after unsubscribing from the commercial newsletter. After creating a Fasctrends customer or guest account, and within 3 years of your last order or registration date, we will send you an informational email to inform you of our seasonal highlights: mid-season sales, archive releases, promotions. 5 emails are sent per year. You can request not to receive such promotional information by unsubscribing in the footer of the email.

Cookies

A cookie is a text file that may be stored on a terminal when accessing the Services using browser software. A cookie allows its issuer to identify the terminal in question during its validity period and each time it accesses a digital content containing a cookie from the same issuer. The User is informed that when connecting to a website or application and using the Services, a cookie is installed on his receiving terminal (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) to ensure the proper functioning of the Service or, depending on the User's choice regarding cookies, on his browser. This choice can be changed at any time.

Rejection of cookies

If the User refuses to record cookies on his terminal or browser, or deletes already recorded cookies, the User is informed that his navigation and experience on the Website or Application may be limited. This may also occur when the Publisher or its service provider cannot, for technical compatibility reasons, identify the type of browser used by the terminal, the language and display settings, or the country from which the terminal is connected to the Internet. Where applicable, the Publisher is not responsible for the consequences of reduced functionality of the Services resulting from (i) the User's refusal of cookies or (ii) the inability of the Publisher to record or consult cookies necessary for their functioning due to the User's choice.

Each browser is configured differently with regard to the management of cookies and the choices made by the user.
